
Art History 1980 - 83
My earliest installation structures were loosely based on the settings found in early Renaissance paintings primarily those of Fra Angelico and Giotto where the life of Mary was depicted. Through the removal of the figures the resultant spaces became like stage sets absent of the actors anticipating an action or performance.
