Overflow 2020 - 23

This ongoing collection of ceramic artwork I have developed has been influenced by my recent experiences in mastering the skill of centering pots on a wheel. However, I discovered that the combination of off-centered pots resulted in gestural forms that offered engaging surfaces for painting.

All of the pieces in this collection are crafted from earthenware clay and painted with underglaze. This medium allows me to explore and express my current concerns by merging the realms of ceramics and painting, creating a gestural forms that offered evocative surfaces for paintings.
